The series begins when Karl says he sees no fuss about the Seven Wonders of the World, where Karl sees it as too ordinary even though he will not see even one. It may be different for his friends Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant who are starting to change their friend's point of view by sending him on multiple trips around the world to experience the wonders of himself.
